My analogy for the week has been to tell people I am Door #2.  I describe it like this: 

My ex, when given the choice of picking Door #1, an unknown female TBD later, or me behind Door #2, chose neither.  Literally.  Doesn't want to date anyone (so he said, at the time, though not the reason for our break-up).

This week I heard back from mystery woman and when she was given the choice between Door #1, a friend of hers, or me again behind Door #2, she chose Door #1.  Even though she was the one who seemed to really want to pursue dating with me, she feels Door #1 is a better option.

So I ask you - what the hell's wrong with Door #2??!!
